Ingredients
- 200g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 200g fish fillets (cut into chunks)
- 150g calamari (sliced into rings)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 cup cooking cream
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon flour (optional, for thickening)
- Fresh parsley or coriander (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Seafood
Clean and pat dry all seafood. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Cook the Base
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 3: Cook the Seafood
Add shrimp, fish, and calamari. Cook for 3–5 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and the seafood is just cooked. Remove and set aside to avoid overcooking.
Step 4: Make the Cream Sauce
In the same pan, add a little more butter if needed. Stir in flour (if using) and cook briefly. Pour in milk and cream, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Step 5: Season the Sauce
Add salt, black pepper, and paprika. Let the sauce simmer gently until it thickens.
Step 6: Combine Everything
Return the seafood to the pan. Add lemon juice and gently mix. Cook for another 2–3 minutes on low heat.
Step 7: Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle fresh parsley or coriander on top and serve hot.
