Crispy Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 kg (2 lb) potatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper
- Optional: rosemary or thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F.
- Cut potatoes into chunks and boil in salted water for 8–10 minutes.
- Drain, shake to rough up edges.
- Toss with olive oil, seasoning, and herbs.
- Roast for 35–45 minutes, turning once, until crispy and golden.
Garlic Butter Pan Potatoes
Ingredients
- 500 g (1 lb) baby potatoes
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until just tender; drain.
- Heat butter and oil in a pan.
- Add potatoes and cook until golden.
- Stir in garlic, season, and cook 1 minute more.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 kg (2 lb) potatoes
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Boil peeled potatoes until very soft.
- Mash with butter and milk.
- Season to taste and serve hot.
