Slow Cooker Beef Chuck with Savory Sauce
Introduction
This slow cooker recipe uses a simple, flavorful mixture poured over raw beef chuck to create a rich and comforting dinner. As it cooks slowly, the beef becomes tender and absorbs the deep flavors of the sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)

Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beef broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and soy sauce if using.
- Stir the mixture until well blended.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until the meat becomes very tender.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the slow cooker.
